Notice of Availability of the School Emergency Management Plans of the Clinton-Essex-Warren-Washington BOCES
REGULATIONS OF THE COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION Part 155 (8 NYCRR 155) section 155.17 (10/99) School emergency management plans, requires that each board of education, chancellor or other governing body shall make each district-wide and building-level school safety plan available for public comment prior to its adoption, provided that only a summary of each building-level emergency response plan shall be made available for public comment. Such district-wide and building-level plans may be adopted by the school board only after at least one public hearing that provides for the participation of school personnel, parents, students and any other interested parties.
Clinton-Essex-Warren-Washington (CEWW) BOCES, in order to comply with this regulation, will make the aforementioned emergency management plans available for public comment from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The event will be located at Champlain Valley Educational Services Satellite Campus Conference Center, 518 Rugar Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
