Security & Law Enforcement Teacher

Minimum Starting Salary: $55,500

Location: CV-TEC, Plattsburgh Campus

Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026

Position Information: 182 workdays, 10-Month Per Year Position, follows school calendar

Paid Time off: School holidays off, snow days off, 15 sick days, 4 personal leave days and
3 bereavement days per occurrence

Retirement System: New York State Teacher’s Retirement System (NYSTRS)

Health Insurance: 15% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 85% of premium.

• CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.

Requirements for position: 5 Years of Documented Experience in Law Enforcement and NYSED Certification in Security Operations 7-12 (or ability to obtain)
