Model Schools: Empowering Educators with Digital Fluency and AI Integration

Cost: $30 for CVES Model Schools members (for expenses not covered by CoSer $200 for those not participating in CVES Model Schools CoSer.

Description: This engaging and practical workshop is designed to support educators in building confidence and competence with digital tools and strategies. The session will begin with a brief overview of the digital fluency standards, highlighting key competencies and their relevance to today’s classrooms. Participants will then explore:
- Best practices for integrating digital fluency into instruction across grade levels and content areas.
- Practical strategies and lesson structures that align with curriculum goals and promote student-centered learning.
- AI-powered tools and techniques to streamline lesson planning, personalize instruction, and increase efficiency—helping educators work smarter, not harder.
Through hands-on activities and collaborative planning, teachers will leave with actionable ideas, ready-to-use resources, and a deeper understanding of how to leverage technology and AI to enhance teaching and learning.
Audience: This workshop is designed for K–8educators, instructional coaches, and school leaders interested in integrating digital fluency standards and exploring AI-powered tools and techniques
