CVES promotes the use of technology to support 21st century skills. In addition to every classroom having several computers, a virtual white board and access to a bank of iPads, we provide a computer lab available to both students and staff. The lab allows the opportunity to integrate technology in the curriculum. The computer lab is available to both students and staff but is most commonly used for classes to complete projects and assignments. It consists of 8 individual work stations equipped with specialty and assistive technology software as well as an electronic white board. Teachers utilize the lab for direct instruction, independent practice of skills and project-based learning. This setting allows each student to work at his or her own pace in a supported environment.
