In the Natural Resources Management Program, students engage in hands-on learning based on current industry standards relating to sustainable forestry techniques, heavy equipment operation and maple syrup production. This program is designed to give students a better understanding of our natural resources as they train for a variety of outdoor careers. Students will learn through experience and develop both the skills to perform work properly and cultivate sensitivity to the environment in which the students work. Students will learn environmental studies, forestry and general heavy equipment operation in the outdoors. This diverse instruction will develop the skills needed to become successful in a wide variety of environmental conservation and management careers.
