Therapeutic Crisis for Schools Train the Trainer 5-Day (Day 2 of 5)

Cost: $2,375 per person for schools participating in the CVES 506 School Improvement Co-Ser

Presenter: Cornell University Staff

Description: This intensive five-day TCIS train-the-trainer competency-based certification course provides school districts the opportunity to develop an in-house training capacity in the TCIS curriculum. Participants will develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the TCIS curriculum necessary to deliver the training to staff in their schools. Participants will have the chance to participate, practice,

and receive feedback in conducting activities to gain immediate training experience. Training techniques such as role plays, small group discussions, guided fantasies, conducting practice sessions, and using audiovisual aids will be demonstrated. The curriculum is evidence informed and trauma sensitive. Participants will receive all the necessary materials to conduct the TCIS training program in their

school district.

IMPORTANT Information: 

All registered participants will also be required to register directly with Cornell. All registrations are due Friday, November 3,2023

Pre-reading materials 

We will send pre-reading materials for this training the week of November 6,2023 via FedEx. It will contain the reference guide, agenda, and certification requirements. Participants are required to read and understand the material before the training begins. These will be sent to the school address listed on the participants’ registration forms or if they prefer, their home addresses. This will be in the final confirmation email noted under course preparation. 

Cancellations must be received prior to the shipment of materials.  Once materials have been sent to participants, the full cost of the training will be incurred.
