Description: The Special Education Learning Community is a dedicated time for special education teachers in our region to come together to dive into current trends in Special education, share best practices, and explore effective strategies for instruction. This will include opportunities to exchange classroom approaches, discuss challenges, and collaborate on ideas/resources to enhance student engagement and achievement. In this session, we will discuss key areas for the end of the school year wrap up such as IEP/goal writing and NYS Testing accommodations. Additionally, this community provides an opportunity to build capacity to ensure the success of both staff and students. Our goal is to unite special educators across grades K-12 twice per year, fostering collaboration and professional growth to meet the diverse needs of learners in our region.
Intended For: Special Education Teachers and Support Staff K-12 (Laptops are recommended)
