Description:    Join us for a collaborative workshop designed specifically for K-12 educators passionate about enhancing their English Language Arts (ELA) instruction. The ELA Learning Community Workshop provides a platform for teachers to share best practices, explore innovative teaching strategies, and deepen their understanding of ELA pedagogy.  During this workshop, participants will:

  • Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange ideas and resources.
  • Explore effective techniques for teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Engage in discussions to promote student-centered learning.
  • Share tools and technologies to enhance ELA instruction.
  • Reflect on current practices and identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Review the latest New York State Education Department (NYSED) initiatives, related to ELA instruction

Whether you’re a seasoned teacher or new to the profession, this workshop offers valuable insights and practical strategies to elevate your ELA teaching. Come prepared to learn, share, and grow within a supportive community of educators dedicated to fostering a love of language and literacy in their students.
