De-Escalation That Works: Supporting Dysregulated Students K–12

Cost:                 $200 per person for schools participating in the CVES 506 School Improvement Co-Ser based on 20 participants

Description:     Kids don’t explode out of nowhere — there are always signals first. This full-day session gives K–12 educators the proactive behavior strategies and de-escalation tools needed to catch dysregulation early, prevent power struggles, and respond to escalation without fueling the fire. Teachers will learn practical structures, early warning signs, and calm response language that increases predictability, protects instructional time, and creates safer, more supportive classrooms.
