She attended our Public Forums and CV-TEC events in the past, and we look forward to hosting her again, and to facilitating her meetings with students, faculty, staff , and educators from our 17 component school districts.”

The tentative schedule has Regent Ouderkirk touring both CVES Plattsburgh campuses, the ADK P-TECH (located at Peru High School), and the CV-TEC New Visions: Medical Careers program at CVPH on April 20.

The following day, Regent Ouderkirk will travel to the CVES Mineville campus for meetings with faculty and students. She will return to Plattsburgh to view the CV-TEC Adult High School Equivalency and Job Skills Training Programs, located at OneWorkSource on the Plattsburgh Oval. She will also meet with the Chairpersons of Special Education from local schools.

Regent Ouderkirk shared that, “CVES is a prime example of excellence in education. It provides leadership to its component school districts through its Special Education division, its Career and Technical Education division, the ADK P-TECH program, and in the many services that it provides. I am happy to be able to return to CVES and engage in conversation with North Country students, teachers, administrators and Boards of Education. I am truly looking forward to this exchange and welcome all.”
