ISC Adopts a Family for the Holidays

IMG_9252The Instructional Services Center at Champlain Valley Educational Services has celebrated the holidays for many years by reaching out to the Clinton County Department of Social Services to adopt a family in need. The office receives the names, ages, genders, and sizes of the children of the family and collect much needed toys and items (diapers, clothes, etc) to gift that family for the holiday season.

And the support of this family is not just limited to the participation of the employees working at ISC. Several administrators, staff, teachers, and many others join them in contributing to the haul of gifts when they attend workshops between October to mid-December.

This year, the ISC staff and many other CVES employees donated educational materials such as reading books, clothes, handcrafted items, toys, and supplies to a family in the community. The total exceeded 40 gifts.

The staff at ISC would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!
