School Planning: Data Analytics and Grant Procurement – CoSer 645

Data Analytics

School district leaders utilize Forecast 5 or ClearGov to develop financial strategies and monetize valuable data insights. By focusing the power of multi-dimensional data processing on the most pressing issues facing component school districts, the tools assist in helping districts locate new resources, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen decision processes with analytics.

Grant Procurement

The Formula Grants Procurement service provides expertise in the completion of all components of the district grant application process and ongoing budget management supports to maximize and integrate the impact of formula funding. The liaising with private schools and collaborative partners and the completion of all application forms, narratives and fiscal documents are included in this service. Formula grants include IDEA 611 & 619; ESSA Titles I, II, III, IV, V; School Improvement; SRSA; Universal Pre-K and the ESSER and GEER funds as part of the 2020 CARES Act.

The Competitive Grants Procurement service is also available to provide leadership in applying for and securing public and private grant funds to serve participating school districts on an individual or consortium basis. The service identifies potential grant sources, facilitates strategic planning to assess need, helps develop goals and objectives, and identifies promising strategies and program models.

Applications for Expanded Pre-K, NSLP Cafeteria Equipment and the 21st Century Community Learning Center, local foundations and in some instances, federal competitions are just some of the opportunities included in this service.

The Competitive Grants service builds relationships with potential funders, develops program partnerships and completes all grant application forms, narratives and fiscal documents as required to secure initial awards and support the continuation of multi-year projects. The number and complexity of competitive applications completed each year is subject to the level of services (FTE) purchased by the district(s) and the capacity of the grant-writing staff.
