DESCRIPTION:Location:\n\nAdirondack Educational Center\n711 NY-3\nSaranac Lake\, NY 12983*\n\n\nPresenter: Amy Campbell\, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services\, CVES and Sue Wilson\, Director of School Support Services\, CVES\n \nDescription: As New York State begins the rollout of the instructional and systems-level transformations outlined in the NY Inspires plan\, CVES is working to ensure that districts in our region are supported\, informed\, and positioned for successful implementation.\nThe NY Inspires Network for the CVES region is intended to provide shared understanding\, coordination\, and support.\nThe purpose of the network will be to:\n\nReview the current changes and expectations being implemented under NY Inspires\nEnsure all districts have a clear understanding of the work underway\nSupport districts in developing an individualized plan for implementation\nIdentify areas where additional guidance or support may be needed\n\nNetwork meetings will be held for a half day and will focus on practical planning\, shared problem-solving\, and alignment across districts.\nDistricts that determine they would benefit from more direct or intensive support will be provided with options for accessing that level of assistance through CVES.\n\nPlease note: This event is for those representatives identified by each district in the BOCES region.  All districts are encouraged to have representation.\n\nRegister Here: 2026 – 2027 S3 Professional Development

DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, October 15\, 2026\n \nTime: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM) Lunch Provided\n \nCTLE Hours: 4.5 Hours\n \nLocation: CVES Conference Center at 1443 Military Turnpike\, Plattsburgh\n \nCost: $185 per person for schools participating in the CVES 506 School Improvement Co-Ser\n \nPresenter: Melissa Dudyak\, CVES Facilitator\n \nDescription: The Math Learning Community is a time for math leaders of the schools in our region to come together to discuss current trends in mathematics education\, review current NYSED initiatives around math instruction\, analyze regional mathematics data\, set priorities for future mathematics learning opportunities and build capacity\, to learn new strategies\, and to collaborate/share resources. It is a common time for professionals to grow together to ensure the success of people (staff and ultimately students) in our region. The goal of this group is to bring together mathematics educators in grades K-12 two times per year for these sessions. NOTE: This is the First meeting of the 2026-2027 school year\, new participants are encouraged to join.
