DESCRIPTION:Date: February 9\, 2027\n\nTime: 8:30-3 pm\, Registration begins at 8 am\n\nLunch will be provided\n\nDescription:\n\n6th Annual Statewide Symposium\n\n\nFeaturing keynote speaker Dr. Barbara Stripling\, this workshop will\nexplore inquiry and the inquiry cycle as a framework for developing\nstudents as curious\, capable\, and independent learners.\nParticipants will delve into inquiry as a way of learning and explore\nauthentic opportunities through project-based learning\, alternative\nforms of assessment\, and purposeful use of the school library and\nits resources. The New York State Portrait of a Graduate will provide\na lens for connecting inquiry to the skills and attributes students\nneed as learners.
