How Schools Become Healing Places: Developmental Trauma and Trauma-informed Practices

This intermediate level training is designed for professionals who have attended prior workshops on Trauma-informed practices. In this full day training, we will review core concepts related to trauma exposure and the attendant impact on youth. We will take a detailed look at the impact of stress on students, families, and the workforce, and learn innovative practices to address these effects. In the afternoon, the workshop will continue with an exploration of more advanced skills, including the use of role-plays, vignettes and group work.

All attendees will be provided articles to read prior to the training.
