Model Schools: AI in the High School Classroom

Date: November 19,8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 8:00 AM.) Lunch is provided.
Target Audience: Teachers, Grades 6–12.
Location: CVES Conference Center at 1433 Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh
Cost: $25 for CVES Model Schools members (for expenses not covered by CoSer), $200 for those not participating in CVES Model Schools CoSer.
Description: Artificial Intelligence is part of our students’ future, so how do we equitably prepare them to use it responsibly and ethically? Join us for a workshop discussing best practices for using AI in the classroom. In addition to ideas for implementation with students, there will be time for hands-on exploration and lesson design. Participants will leave with ideas to implement this technology in the classroom to increase student engagement and learning.
Special Considerations: Please bring a laptop.
