Description: Join us for an engaging and interactive professional development workshop designed to empower educators with effective classroom management strategies, with a special focus on restorative practices. This session will explore proven techniques for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering student engagement, and addressing behavioral challenges. Participants will learn to: Establish clear expectations and routines that promote student responsibility. Implement proactive strategies to prevent disruptions and enhance focus. Integrate restorative practices to build strong relationships, encourage accountability, and resolve conflicts collaboratively. Adapt management techniques to diverse learning needs and classroom dynamics. Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and real-world scenarios, educators will collaborate with colleagues to share insights and develop personalized approaches to classroom management. Participants will leave with practical tools, strategies for effective teamwork, and a renewed confidence in their ability to create a supportive atmosphere where all students can thrive!
Target Audience: K-12 Teachers and other staff
Please note: Participants should bring laptops and, if desired, hard copies of the materials sent out prior to the training. Also, bring any strategies currently used to share with the group. There will be time provided to apply workshop information to hands-on activities.
