Description: Regardless of race or creed, students who identify as LGBTQ+ experience dramatic numbers of founded cases of bullying, harassment, and discrimination. Many of these negative experiences are rooted in bias or intolerance. This session will provide information that will seek to alter the common longstanding belief that gender and sexuality are binaries. Participants will be provided with resources and talking points to dispel myths about biological sex, gender identification, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
Target Audience: Administrators, Teachers, Counselors, anyone who would like to understand more about supporting all students.
