CVES is excited to announce an addition to the Health Safety Risk Management Team. Tom Houle is a skilled professional with a diverse background. (B-52H Bomber Crew Chief, US Air Force, Aerospace Engineer, Fire Fighter/EMT, Retired New York State Trooper, Investigator Collision Reconstruction Unit)
Q&A Session:
- Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A with Tom Houle.
Review Current Safety Practices:
- Discuss the safety and investigative practices and methodologies of participating districts.
Future Safety Needs:
- Identify and address the future safety needs of our community.
- Discuss opportunitiesfor best practices between participating districts as it relates to safety, health and threat investigations.
Introduction to Threat Assessment and Management Teams (TAM):
- Learn about the formation and function of TAM teams and how they can benefit your district in preventing violence and resolving conflicts or problems that underlie threatening behavior.
- TAM teams focus on the prevention of future violent behavior vs discipline of post-incident behavior
Regional Safety Teams and Coordination:
- Explore how to better coordinate with regional safety teams.
