Athletic Director Professional Development – Strategies for Organization Management – AM

Section VII would like to invite you to some quality professional development designed specifically for Athletic Directors!
These sessions will be run through the school/curriculum Improvement Co-Ser (506) and will count toward your continuing education hours and allow you to grow as an athletic director, while earning professional development and taking a proactive approach at improving your craft!
The morning session will cover general strategies to help you improve and progress as an athletic director, while the afternoon session will give you an update on the current legal issues to navigate and help guide you as an athletic director.

Afternoon session: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Cost: $225.00 charge PER session (Your district will be billed accordingly).

Strategies for Organization Management: This session takes a basic approach to the fundamentals and methods of athletic administration and alerts and educates athletic administrators regarding potential problems and possible solutions in areas such as chain of command, scheduling, contest management, and personnel management. The course also touches upon eligibility, Critical Incident planning, financial responsibilities, legal, law, liability, equipment and facilities.
