Students will learn extensive administrative and financial office procedures; including but not limited to understanding the primary functions and roles within a business and the role of effective communication, the art of public speaking, financial accounting and reporting for business entities, microcomputer applications, medical terminology, ten-key calculating, and essential keyboarding skills. Students create professional portfolios that provide a winning edge when seeking employment. Students participate in off-site internships that will prepare them for a wide variety of jobs in the medical or general office setting.
