CV-TEC @ OneWorkSource Graduates Class of 2018

Post-secondary adult students received their High School Equivalency Certificates (formerly the GED) Saturday after many months, even years, of hard work and dedication from the CV-TEC Adult Literacy and Job Skills Training program located at OneWorkSource.

Assembly D. Billy Jones, of NYS Assembly District 115, gave the commencement address.

CV-TEC director Michele Friedman met the students as they were called on stage to receive their certificates. With these new certificates, these men and women can find advancements in their careers, continuing education, and new job opportunities that had otherwise been unavailable to them.

The HSE program available at CV-TEC at OneWorkSource is free to all interested individuals through the NYS Education Department.

Closing remarks were given by former HSE graduate Karisma Garcia, who, since leaving the program with her certificate, has completed her second semester at Clinton Community College.
