Each qualified bidder is required to submit pages four (4) of this document. The bid must be signed by the person submitting the bid, enclosed in a sealed, legal size envelope and marked on the outside “SALE OF SURPLUS INVENTORY.” The bid OPENING DATE is Friday, October 2, 2020 at TIME: 2:00 P.M. (EST). Bids will be received by mail or hand delivered to Colby Siskavich at the Business Office no later than the time and date indicated above, at the address noted below. All bids will be dated and time stamped with the official time by the Business Office upon receipt. Any bids received after this stipulated time will be returned unopened.

Bids received in the Business Office after the submittal deadline shall be returned unopened and will be considered void and unacceptable. The BOCES is not responsible for lateness of mail, carrier, etc. and the date/time stamp in the Business Office shall be the official time of receipt.
Bids cannot be altered or amended after submittal deadline. Any interlineation, alteration or erasure made before opening time must be initialed by the signer of the Bid, guaranteeing authenticity.
Rights to Accept or Reject
The BOCES reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
Terms of Sale
100% of accepted bid price plus sales tax (8%) upon or before removal of item(s) from school property.
Items for bid are available for inspection between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 through Thursday, October 1, 2020 any day school is in session. Douglas DC-3 Airframe is located at The Board of Cooperative Educational Services, dba Champlain Valley Educational Services, 518 Rugar Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.

Should the successful bidder default BOCES reserves the right to award the to the second highest responsible bidder should it be determined to be in the best interest of the BOCES.
Award shall be to the highest and/or best evaluated bidder(s) meeting all specifications and conditions and subject to all other provisions of this invitation to bid, on an individual basis, on a group basis, or on a total basis, whichever is deemed to be in the best interest of the BOCES. Should two or more bidders submit the same bid price, the award will be determined by lottery drawing. BOCES does not guarantee the condition/operation of the equipment listed.
