CVES is committed to making our program a positive experience for both the student and you, the employer. Our students have basic skills and are extremely interested in learning through actual work site involvement. As young adults they have much to contribute and can benefit greatly from a work experience placement. As an employer, you will profit from their eagerness to learn and willingness to work. A placement with your company gives a student an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and to reach his or her potential as a successful employee and productive citizen.
Career Pathways students have had successful placements in numerous work settings throughout the community. Currently, over one hundred businesses are actively participating in these work experiences in a variety of ways: tours, job shadows, small group, and independent training to ensure that the students have successful experiences. Our employers have been pleased with our student's maturity, dependability and commitment to their work
