This is a 6:1:1 student to teacher, teaching assistant ratio classroom that focuses on social skills with school psychologist consultation and speech services.
The program uses research-based methodologies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Visual Strategies, Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), augmentative communications systems, functional behavioral assessment and Positive Behavior Supports to assist students in attending programs in the least restrictive environment.
Academic instruction is addressed individually based on the student’s current level of functioning.
