12:1:1 plus 3 Program For Multiply Disabled

This program provides intensive adult-student interaction required by pupils with multiple disabilities. The students in this program are profoundly and severely mentally disabled and/or physically disabled. The needs of these students consist primarily of habitation in treatment and specifically involve motor development, perceptual development, daily living skills, language development and socialization.

The curriculum addresses the Special Needs Alternate Learning Standards. Speech therapy, assistive technology, physical therapy and occupational therapy are provided as recommended by their local Committee on Special Education. Support for parents is also provided. The classes are currently located at the William A. Fritz Center.
