Workshop Description:
The current reauthorization of IDEA introduces a response to intervention model for LD diagnosis.  This session will highlight techniques for monitoring and graphing students’ academic and behavioral progress.

Workshop will include:

  • Assessment techniques for understanding students’ specific instructional needs
  • A look at Progress Monitoring and graphing procedures to assist in the evaluation of a student’s response to intervention
  • An opportunity to discuss practical implications and questions regarding using this model
  • A review of free web-based resources to assist with RTI activities for district use
