As part of our program for academic excellence in our region, ISC is hosting its first annual High School Mathematics Forum. This forum will provide opportunities for collaborative conversations among local educators to help all students succeed in differentiated, data-driven instruction given the new Common Core Standards.
Dana Morse, Educational Consultant for Texas Instruments, will be joining us for the day to share with us tips and tools for high school mathematics teachers. Each district should send a team comprised of a high school administrator, Director of Special Education, mathematics director/chair, high school mathematics teachers, and special education teachers. Participants will:
- Analyze its data to identify content strengths and opportunities for growth
- Share promising practices and curriculum information.
- Update district mathematics improvement plan to support the district’s journey toward school improvement.
*Cost for districts not participating in the School Improvement CoSer 506 is estimated at $195.00
Lunch provided. All estimated costs are based on 20 participants. Costs will be adjusted once registration is closed.
