Workshop Description:

This two-day workshop empowers attendees to Get Ahead of Schedule and positively impact students, teachers and staff.

Highlights:

  • Learn key elements in school schedule building, including decision making, scheduling logic, analysis procedures, and practical, time saving techniques;
  • Significantly reduce student conflicts and improve multi-section balance, while honoring special staff requests;
  • Explore teaming, block scheduling, extended period scheduling and small learning communities;
  • Translate scheduling concepts to your unique school and situation;
  • Exchange ideas and discuss problems and solutions while developing new master scheduling skills.
  • Participant teams will develop a master schedule in a hands-on practicum session using basic data from an actual school.
