2008 CVES Regional Spelling Bee
The 2008 CVES Regional Spelling Bee, co-sponsored by the Press-Republican, was held at the Saranac Middle School Auditorium on Friday, Feb. 29. This year's winner, Nelson Moore of Saranac Central School will go on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC in May 2008. All expenses for Nelson and his chaperone will be paid (see giant check!) by the Press-Republican and the North Country Parents for the National Spelling Bee. Congratulations to Nelson and all the contestants! |
