This service includes planning, management, technical support and leadership for the provision of staff development activities promoting the integration of technology in the teaching/learningprocess.
This instructional technology service will be provided in three components:
Planning
This component will develop a staff development
plan which will be based on the training needs of
the district as derived from the local Instructional
Technology Plan. The plan will contain the kinds of
training needed, at what levels, the length of each
training, who should attend, the time lines for the
implementation and the costs for each training.
Training
This component is open to the professional staff of
participating districts. The training will be ongoing
so new staff can be added to the training model.
Teachers already in the program will be given technical
support and advanced training.
Evaluation
This component will train staff in the development
and use of evaluation procedures and process for instructional
technology curriculum and instruction.
