Strategies for Success in Adult Learning

“The first three weeks in a program are the most critical as related to students’ persistence.” (NCSALL).

Strategies for Success in Adult Learning is a four week orientation program based on current research in adult literacy, adult education ELA learning standards, and student centered instruction in the areas of learning strengths, styles, and differences. SFS Teacher Training is a two day workshop created for program managers, teachers, and intake staff. Participants will work through each lesson as a student of the program. SFS also incorporates the American with Disabilities Act within Lesson 2.
