
A hands-on approach to a marketable trade in the world of recreational vehicles. Obtain the knowledge needed to maintain and repair a variety of small engines used on portable power equipment.
Learn the principles of internal combustion engine operation, entry level machining and measuring skills, customer relations and how to read technical manuals. Work on snowmobiles, motorcycles, personal watercraft, small outboard engines, and lawn and garden maintenance equipment.
Students will acquire all the skills needed from basic tune-ups to rebuilding engines.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
