The Nursing Assistant program encompasses 120 hours of instruction & training. Students gain skills and knowledge through classroom, laboratory, and clinical site preparation. The Nursing Assistant works as a member of the nursing team delivering personal care to clients. New York State certification exam is given onsite at completion of the program. Successful candidates may work in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, or hospice.
