The CV-TEC New Visions: Law Careers program is an academically rigorous, in-depth exploratory program studying career opportunities as a lawyer, paralegal, law clerk, judge, mediator, and court reporter.
New Visions: Law is a unique program for college-bound high school seniors who can benefit from exposure to the legal professions as an integral part of their career preparation. Program include foundations of law, government and citizenship, civil law and criminal justice, constitutional law, institutions of government., public policy and political philosophy.

Students will participate in internship programs with various learning experiences, e.g.:City Court, District Attorney, Family Court, Public Defender, Surrogate Court, Town Justice Court, Law Enforcement Headquarters, Private Law Practice, etc. College-bound students will be exposed to the basic knowledge and terminology needed for majoring in pre-law or a career in government service.
New Visions Program
The New Visions Program is taught at the honors level and provides an insider’s study of professional careers by immersing you in the daily activities with a mentor / expert before starting your college career. Acceptance is competitive with selection based on grades, recommendations, interview and essay.

Students may choose from over 70 AP, certificate-granting and high school credit online courses to fulfill requirements and augment their New Visions Experience.
