New Visions – Education (NEW)

The CV-TEC New Visions: Education Careers program is an academically rigorous, in-depth exploratory program studying educational career opportunities.

New Visions: Education is a unique program for college-bound seniors planning to major in a field of study such as pre-school teacher, elementary teacher, special education teacher, child psychologist/therapist, middle school teacher, librarian, high school teacher, guidance counselor, school administrator.

General areas of instruction for the New Visions: Education Program include all aspects of the education profession e.g.: Administration, Teaching, School Psychology, School Counseling.

Students will have the option to participate in internship programs at various educational agencies in the geographical area including Pre-K through College, Special Education, Adult Education and Technical Education.

New Visions Program

The New Visions  Program is taught at the honors level and provides an insider’s study of professional careers by immersing you in the daily activities with a mentor / expert before starting your college  career.   Acceptance is competitive with selection based on grades, recommendations, interview and essay.

Clinton’s College Success Seminar  (1 Credit from Clinton Community College)

Explore career interests with mentors in the community, while earning high school and  college credit!

Students may choose from over 70 AP, certificate-granting and high school credit online courses to fulfill  requirements and augment their New Visions Experience.
