Do you know what an “Otorhinolaryngologist” does?  If not, why not check out the Medical Office Assisting Program at CV-TEC. 

In the CTE approved Medical/Legal Office Assisting Program you will learn extensive medical or legal office procedures, medical or legal terminology, office ten-key calculating,  Microsoft Word,  Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, CPR/AED certification training, Professional Development Program (PDP) activities, 21st Century Skills, community service projects and much more. 

Students apply all of these skills and more at an off-site internship toward the end of the first year.  Students also learn an office management scheduler system for data entry as used in many local offices.

Excellent daily attendance and class participation are necessary to be successful in this program.

This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.

This program is a NYSED CTE Approved Program.

Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
