Students will learn extensive medical office procedures, medical terminology, office calculating, Speedwriting Shorthand, Word Perfect and Microsoft Word, “hands-on” switchboard training, and much more. Students also participate in off-site internships that will prepare them for a wide variety of jobs in the medical field.

Former students are now working in hospitals, doctor’s offices, and public health departments.

This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.

This program is a NYSED CTE Approved Program.

Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
