A hands-on approach to gaining skills towards employment in the Retail/Marketing Industry. Students will learn cash register operations, shipping/receiving, stocking, inventory control, record keeping, accounting, payroll, sales, management, merchandising and marketing through the operation of the CV-TEC Café/Gift Shop.
A work experience in the community will further enhance these skills.
This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
