Start a nursing career! Prepare for licensure and employment in hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, nursing homes and home care. Students gain the skills and knowledge that will allow them to deliver safe, effective nursing care working in partnership with Registered Nurses and other health care team members.
This 1200-hour post-graduate program is accredited by the New York State Department of Education.
Opportunities exist for continuing into Registered Nursing programs with advanced credit for learning based on becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.
This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
