Learn forest logging and heavy equipment operations in the out-of-doors at our Miner Institute location. Experience the maple season by producing maple syrup or work in the greenhouse where students will seed and grow bedding plant crops. Participate in wildlife management or fruit orchard operation.Students will participate in hands-on experiences in a diversified career field of environmental technologies and construction.
This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.
This program is a NYSED CTE Approved Program.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
