This workshop prepares individuals to operate electrocardiograph machines that record tracings of electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. The EKG enables the physician to diagnose heart diseases, monitor effects of medications, and analyze changes in a patient’s heart over time. Students will learn to interpret a variety of heart tracings. Professional Certification is available through The National Certification Agency. Students may earn certification available through the National Healthcare Association. Available at the Plattsburgh campus.
