Child Care Services Program

Instruction will be provided in all areas of child development. Students will learn how a child develops physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally. Curriculum will include preparation of lesson plans that will be used in the onsite day care classes.
These as well as other “hands-on” experiences and training will expose students to real life situations and prepare them to obtain jobs working with children.
This program is available at the Plattsburgh Campus.
This program is a NYSED CTE Approved Program.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
