This program is designed to provide specialized occupational instruction in all phases of computer aided drafting (CAD) technology utilized in the drafting field. Students will experience 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, introductory animation, and applied academics.
These skills will be put to use at design firms where students will receive hands-on work experience. This training will enable students to obtain skills and knowledge used within several fields of the drafting and design industry.
This program is a NYSED CTE Approved Program.
Students enrolled in this program are eligible to earn integrated academic credit toward graduation and the CTE Endorsement (Advanced Designation in Career and Technical Education) on their High School Diploma.
